Comment # 1 - No one can accurately measure the open rates. It&#039;s technically impossible and that&#039;s why many ezine publishers don&#039;t use such performance metrics.

Comment # 2 - An open rate of 30-40% is indeed respectable but is not reasonable! The most recent reports issued by reputable email marketing companies show much lower open rates irrespective of newsletter&#039;s niche.
